Some FAQ's
How far in advance should I book entertainment for my Lakeway party?
Lakeway parties have a particular rhythm — a lot of the social calendar revolves around the lake, and weekend parties stack up around boating season. May through August is genuinely the busiest window, and we’d push for six weeks of lead time during those months. The shoulder seasons are easier. We’ve done plenty of Lakeway parties at short notice, but if you’re locking in a Saturday afternoon between Memorial Day and Labor Day, please don’t leave it to the last minute — that’s the one window where everything is competing for the calendar.
Where can I host a kids party in Lakeway?
Lakeway City Park has the prettiest pavilion option in town — bookable through the City of Lakeway Parks and Recreation, and right near Lake Travis. Hamilton Greenbelt is another lovely outdoor pick. The Lakeway Activity Center is the go-to indoor space and works well for larger crowds. For lake-loving families, plenty of waterfront homes and the marinas around town host parties too. Most of our Lakeway clients just host at home, though — the views and the backyards make it the easiest call, and our entertainers can run a full party from a deck overlooking the lake without missing a beat.
Do you travel to Lakeway at no extra cost?
Yes, Lakeway is inside our free travel zone — no fees for the drive west, no surcharge for being out by the lake. Free travel applies to anywhere within an hour of downtown Austin and Lakeway makes the cut comfortably. We genuinely enjoy heading out 71 for parties — the views are a perk for our team too. Just send the address and we’ll be there.
