Some FAQ's
How far in advance should I book entertainment for my San Marcos party?
San Marcos is a bit of a drive for us, so we appreciate the lead time more here than anywhere else on this list — six weeks is genuinely helpful. Four weeks is workable. We’d avoid leaving it inside two weeks if you can. The river-and-tubing season from late spring through August is the peak window for parties down here, and our weekends book up accordingly. Texas State home game weekends can also push the calendar around. Plan early, send us a clear address, and we’ll be there.
Where can I host a kids party in San Marcos?
The river is the obvious draw. Rio Vista Park sits right on the San Marcos River and has shaded pavilions reservable through the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation — a hard venue to beat in summer. City Park is another strong outdoor pick, and the splash pad is a hit with younger kids. Indoor options include the San Marcos Activity Center and a handful of community spaces around the newer subdivisions. Plenty of San Marcos families also host at home — backyards down here run generous and our entertainers can set up wherever works.
Do you travel to San Marcos at no extra cost?
Almost — San Marcos sits just outside our one-hour radius from downtown Austin, so we add a small $20 travel charge for the extra distance. That’s the whole fee, no fuel surcharge or anything else on top. Honestly we love the run down 35 and the river views are a nice perk for our team. Send us the address and we’ll roll up ready to go.
